ABOUT US

Who are we?

African Peace and Security Union (APSU) is a Pan African and Professional organization aiming to promote peace, security and stability in Africa in order to facilitate the integration and development of the continent through the participation of African Civil Society organizations to the World Governance

Our objectives

We aim to promote a permanent dialogue between all components of the African population on issues concerning the culture of peace. Support policies and programs which promote peace, security, stability and encourage the integration of the Africans.

Our Roadmap

 Our roadmap intend to lead, by stages the support of policies and programme that promote peace, security and stability and foster development and integration. It is a performance-based plan, goal-driven plan, with a clear phases, timelines, and benchmarks. Read more

      EXECUTIVE BOARD

      Chairperson

      H.E NGOMAT Roll Stephane is a Gabonese, a Diplomat and International Relations Expert. 

      He is the current Chairperson of African Peace and Security Union (APSU).

      From 2018 to 2022, H.E NGOMAT served as Chairperson of Peace and Security Cluster of African Union  Economic, Social and Cultural Council (African Union-ECOSOCCC). In that capacity

      H.E NGOMAT Roll Stephane is a Gabonese, a Diplomat and International Relations Expert. 

      He is the current Chairperson of African Peace and Security Union (APSU).

      From 2018 to 2022, H.E NGOMAT served as Chairperson of Peace and Security Cluster of African Union  Economic, Social and Cultural Council (African Union-ECOSOCCC). In that capacity, he served as member of African Union Steering Committee on Security Sector Reform (SSR) and Focal point of the African Union Peace and Security Council (AU-PSC) on the operationalisation of the Livingstone Formula.

      From 2017-2018, he served as Gabon's representative in African Union ECOSOCC and  member of the Political Affairs cluster working in the area of Good Governance, Human Rights, Electoral Institutions and Humanitarian Affairs.

      His Excellency Roll Stephane NGOMAT, has participated in the African Union Election Observation Missions (EOM) in Africa.

      From 2016 to 2017 , He was the Investment Advisor for Global Business Roundtable (GBR) for West and Central Africa. 

       In 2015, He was the Chairperson of the Pan African Youth Organisation, after being served as Secretary General of Gabonese Student Association  of Johannesburg in 2014.
