AFRICAN PEACE AND SECURITY UNION (APSU)

 African Peace and Security Union (APSU) works in enhancing and deepening democracy, rules of law, respect of human dignity, human rights, good governance and popular participation

APSU advocate for Governments compliance of international instruments on democracy, rules of law, power sharing and constitutional rule.

APSU promotes citizens participation in public activities and their involvement in clear defined ways in public life at local and national level. 

APSU advocate for all men and women to have a voice in decision-making, either directly or through legitimate representative bodies that represent their interests. in which all voices including of the less privileged and most vulnerable, are heard and taken into account in decision-making including over the allocation of resources. 

APSU promotes freedom of expression, assembly and associations and consensus on what is in the interest of the whole community and how it can be achieved 

APSU advocate for Rules and Regulations be adopted in accordance with procedures provided for by law and are enforced impartially.
