AFRICAN PEACE AND SECURITY UNION (APSU)

African Peace and Security Union (APSU ) assists in a complementary manner with Governmental institutions, Regional mechanisms and specialized agencies through advising the effective processes to ensure that parties to a Conflict are assisted in the implementation of Peace agreements.

Africa Peace and Security Union also works in support of peacekeeping missions by undertaking some aspects of the civilian component of the operation. This involves supporting the work of the civilian component of the African Standby Force.
