AFRICAN PEACE AND SECURITY UNION (APSU)

After the Signing of Peace Agreements, African Peace and Security Union (APSU) works in Complement with the efforts of the Governmental Institutions, Special Envoys/ Representatives, Liaison Offices, Regional mechanisms and specialized agencies in post Conflict confidence-Building and Support reconciliation process in war-affected Countries and Regions. Also in the aftermath of Conflict.

African Peace and Security Union (APSU)also assists in rebuilding communities to enable the delivery of basic services to the people in Post Conflict Reconstruction and Development (PCRD) Processes.

African Peace and Security Union (APSU) engages in Peace-making and Peace-Building, Humanitarian assistance, addressing basic needs of returnees and internally-displaced persons, Economic recovery and rehabilitation of ex-combatants, rebuilding confidence, disarmament, demobilization and Reintegration (DDR) of ex-combatants, especially Child Soldiers as well as Provide considerable moral support to victims of violence and other members of the Community affected by war .
